Before Commission

1.  All visual assets must be final and ready before the commission will be accepted. 

2. All visual assets will follow the “Visual Guidelines” below unless otherwise discussed. 

3. Audio assets should have at minimum finalized timing before the commission will be accepted. A final mix is preferred though. 

4. A doc/message with all credits must be provided before or 1-2 after the commission is accepted. Links are not required. 

5. Please compile all assets into one shareable folder. DexcilaDou MUST be able to preview all assets before the commission is accepted or declined.

 

During Commission 

1. Upon the acceptance of a commission inspiration and references should be sent before or at this time.  The creation of a mood board will be started if no references are sent.

2. A mood board will be sent for feedback. If any changes are to be made, the board will be updated once and sent. Once the board is finalized, the animation process will be started.

3. WIPs and screen shots will be sent across the duration of work. After a WIP or screenshot is sent, if no reply is received within 3-4 days, DexcilaDou will assume there are no changes needed. 

For animations shorter than 30 seconds in duration:
One WIP will be sent when the general movements and scene are set up.

One final WIP will be sent after the animation is completed. Only SMALL changes will be made at this time. 

For animation longer than 30 seconds in duration:

Minimum amount:
One WIP will be sent when a third to half of the video is completed.
A final WIP will be sent after the animation is completed. Only SMALL changes will be made at this time.

As necessary:
Screenshots of scenes will be sent as needed.
Additional WIPs may be sent if needed.

 

After Commission

If payment was done in two parts, the second half of payment is due when the final WIP is confirmed. After payment has been completed, the final version will be sent.
